Hello! My name is Nick Burczyk, and I never know where to start on these “about me” bios. I am a Follower of Jesus, first and foremost, who strives to love his wife sacrificially as Christ loved the church (Eph. 5:25), and to raise my kiddos (the “s” is future-tense for now) up to know, love and honor Jesus (Proverbs 6:33, Deut. 6:4-9). I am an ordained pastor, but am finishing a seminary degree at Cincinnati Bible Seminary, and don’t yet know what is in store after that.
I’m an avid coffee drinker (important distinction: not a connoisseur; an avid drinker), despite what some articles posted a couple of years ago might lead you to believe. There are many areas in my life that are inconsistent, but letting others see them is how God’s grace is magnified.
I write on this blog about the church, Scripture, culture, and the big, messy, family dinner where they all get together and seem to disagree. Hopefully, the thoughts expressed here can help Christians navigate those disagreements.
Thanks for reading!
